Bottomline - A sit-down family Mexican restaurant with menu items ranging from authentic Mexican to Tex-Mex. Quality food in a comfortable setting.

I've only eaten here once, but it left me wanting to come back and try some of the other items. The fish taco I had was actually much better than most. Crunchy batter, good fish, fresh cabbage, and a delicious white sauce. I also had the cochinita pibil which was done in the traditional style. It used the pulled pork method rather than big chunks of pork which I prefer, but the flavors were very good.

Service - great. Atmosphere - wonderful. Certainly no complaints there.

I'm not ready to make a final call on this place. If I had to give a decision right now I'd say it's better than many of the sitdown places in the area. But without trying more of the dishes it's hard to say. What I *can* say is that this place is the real deal, serves good food, and made me want to come back.

Being that I have about 20 other places to review on my "short list" who knows when I'll get back. but when I do, and I will, I'll update this review.

The restaurant is just off the 805, making it very easy to get to, and parking seems ample in the little strip mall where it's located. But it is hard to see from the road and is behind another taco shop which makes things a little confusing. But if you just go by the address and trust your map you shouldn't really have any trouble.
